Most important Question Which also asked by people. How SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro works and how to control SteelSeries Arctis pro wireless gaming headsets and SteelSeries GG software work and so on… we give you a detailed answer below. First of all, you have to know Why should you buy SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless? Let’s have a look.

Why should you buy SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless?

HARDWARE AND FEATURES, SOUND QUALITY: This headset is the new wired flagship that offers excellent sound quality, noise cancellation, and comfort while offering hot-swappable battery life. It has an excellent duration. any.

SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless

SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless is a new gaming headset from a company known for comfort and quality. It’s clear that SteelSeries is aiming for a new benchmark in wireless gaming quality here. With an understated design and superior build quality, the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless could be a good choice not only as a gaming headset but also as an everyday pair of headphones ready to tackle commuting and Zoom meetings alike.

How is the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Controlled?

The controls on the side of the headset are easy to distinguish from each other and each one matches the high build quality of the headset. SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless features an easily accessible set of controls on both headsets. On the left earcup are the microphone mute button, volume slider, and a power button that doubles as a switch for active noise cancellation.

On the right side of the headphones is the Bluetooth pairing button. Compared to other headsets, SteelSeries does an admirable job of differentiating each of these controls by making them feel distinct from one another, reducing confusion for new users.

How is the SteelSeries Wireless Base Station Controlled?

The wireless base station also features its own set of controls, allowing you to go beyond the headset controls without resorting to the SteelSeries GG app. All of this is controlled by a multifunction wheel on the right side of the case. On the main screen, the wheel usually adjusts the volume, but if you go into the menus, you can easily scroll through and change settings on the fly.

The only confusing part of this whole interface is the capacitive touch-back button to the left of the wheel, which isn’t immediately apparent on first use. You can also control the base station menu by clicking the volume wheel on the headset.

How does the SteelSeries GG Software Work?

When you buy SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless, you get add-on software called SteelSeries GG (Windows/macOS), which you’ll need for software updates. Downloading SteelSeries GG gives you access to the Moments and Sonar outfits, which let you record your gameplay and adjust audio settings, respectively.

The companion app looks stylish, and Sonar Audio is where you can select designated audio devices for gaming, chat, and microphone audio with a few clicks. You can also play around with Sonar Audio’s EQ presets or create your own, ”but be careful” it interacts weirdly with the base station.

Most EQ presets for drawbars have one thing in common: they drain all the bass to make sure the footsteps are easier to hear. When installing GG and upgrading the wireless base station, you will notice that the base station has a new ability to separately adjust Sonar audio channels. Excellent.

You still need the software to change the game/chat balance, but that’s not too much of a hassle.  At the same time, once you apply an EQ through Sonar, it will replace the wireless base station’s built-in EQ function.  This means you’ll lose custom control over the EQ directly through the base station, and if you want to change it, you’ll need to do it from within the Sonar Audio suite.

Since SteelSeries has two different ways to adjust the EQ (with Sonar being the newer one), you can still use the old SteelSeries Engine to adjust the EQ without running into this issue. Hopefully, Sonar will be updated in the future to work seamlessly with the wireless base station equalizer.

How does SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Connect?

The Arctis Nova Pro Wireless has a variety of connectivity options, though it’s disappointing that buyers have to choose between PlayStation or Xbox support when buying it. The Arctis Nova Pro Wireless is primarily designed to connect to the Wireless Base Station, which has multiple I/O ports. Two USB-C ports and two 3.5mm TRS connectors (one line-in and one line-out) are included to allow multiple connections to and from headphones.

In general, the wireless connection is quite solid, although we did notice some very brief dips in quality at 1.5 meters away. It also supports Bluetooth 5.0 (SBC only) when used away from the base station and you get a range of 12 meters.

This means that the headset is compatible with a wide range of different devices, including PCs, Macs, smartphones, PlayStation 4, PlayStation 5, and Nintendo Switch. You can also use the 3.5mm jack on the left side for wired playback.

How Good is the Battery life of the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless?

The ability to change batteries on the fly without having to turn off the headset is one of the most impressive features of the Arctis Nova Pro Wireless. The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Base Station includes a slot for charging the removable battery (you get two). Each battery is advertised to last between 18 and 22 hours, and in our tests.

We found that they lasted a total of 22 hours, and 36 minutes when playing music continuously at a maximum level of 75dB (SPL).  This result doesn’t match many recent standouts, such as the HyperX Cloud Alpha Wireless or SteelSeries’ Arctis 7+, but the base station has a trick up its sleeve to level the playing field.

You can quickly change a battery by removing the magnetic cover on the right side of the headset. The headset will stay on for a full eight seconds without a battery inserted, giving you time to swap it out for the other included battery that you store in the base station’s charging bay you can use the headset effectively without turning it off for sessions of any length.

The headset also features a USB-C port on the left earcup under another magnetic cover that can be used to charge the battery when away from the base station ”when using Bluetooth”.

How well does SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless block noise?

The ANC and Isolation graph for the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless shows some pretty impressive Active Noise Cancellation performance. The Arctis Nova Pro Wireless features pretty impressive active noise cancellation, though it’s not the best in its class.

Without the use of active noise cancellation, the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless has pretty good noise isolation overall thanks to its rugged, enclosed design. The addition of Active Noise Cancellation (ANC) makes this headset a fantastic choice for anyone who plays in a noisy environment.

The hum of an air conditioning unit or outside traffic is easily suppressed, it sounds about half as loud, and even room-level conversations are hard to hear with ANC on.

How does the SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless Sound?

The SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro Wireless follows our ideal response curve very closely, with a few deviations.
The Arctis Nova Pro Wireless has a pretty good-sounding frequency response. Compared to our ideal consumption curve, this headphone has a slight emphasis on the bass range (around 100 Hz) and a slight drop around 4 kHz.

The narrow 8kHz peak and high-end roll-off starting around 10kHz isn’t too noticeable, but it’s worth noting if that’s something you might be sensitive to. Although this frequency response isn’t perfect, it’s still an impressive and enjoyable listening experience for both gaming and music.

So yes SteelSeries Arctis Nova Pro is an ideal and outstanding wireless gaming headset. Arctis Nova Pro is one of the great and best Xbox and PC gaming. This headphone is very easy-to-use, also come in a great quality product. The best thing about the SteelSeries Arctis Nova headset is unique from all.
